COVID-19 Policy

COVID Safety Guidelines for Theatre School classes & productions:

We care about your safety and that of our students, patrons, artists, and staff. Over the past year, we have been working hard to ensure that our facilities and procedures are in compliance with recommended Covid-19 health and safety guidelines. Our reopening will be done in accordance with CDC, State, local, and union health recommendations and may be adjusted as needed based on public health data.

At North Coast Rep we are excited to welcome audiences back to live performances and classes! Our 40th Anniversary Season began this September and our student productions and classes continue to thrive in person. We want to reassure you that all of our staff, performers, ushers, crew, and volunteers are fully vaccinated.

To ensure your health and safety, we have updated our attendance policy. We will continually be reviewing. Please check back here for any additional updates.

  • Rapid or home test is acceptable within 24 hours of the performance, camps, or class, but PCR tests are recommended
  • Masks must be worn at all times indoors
  • Students and Instructors will maintain social distancing at all times
  • Hand Sanitizer is provided, and students are encouraged to maintain personal hygiene

  • Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 72 hours of performance is required to attend student productions

All guests need to have a photo ID and either their physical CDC vaccination card, a picture of their vaccination card, or a digital vaccination record until further notice. California residents may request digital vaccine records here. There must be at least 14 days elapsed from the date of the final dose.

Any unvaccinated persons must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours of the performance date. This includes guests under age 12 or those who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to sincerely held religious beliefs.

  • Masks must be worn at all times indoors

Effective immediately and until further notice, masks must be worn at all times indoors regardless of vaccination status, except when enjoying snacks or drinks. This is based on the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. San Diego County is also now recommending masks indoors.
