Rachael VanWormerEducation AssistantRachael is an actor, playwright, and teaching artist. She has taught with The Playwrights Project, North Coast Repertory Theatre, The San Diego Shakespeare Society, and the North County School of the Arts. As an actor she has appeared on local stages for the last twelve years, including Intrepid Shakespeare Company, North Coast Repertory Theatre, The San Diego Repertory Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, ion Theatre, Cygnet Theatre, and New Village Arts. Her plays have been produced by The Fritz Theatre and The Playwrights Project, as well as several self-produced workshop readings and productions.

Sean BoydEducation AssistantSean Boyd is thrilled to be teaching at The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep. He is an associate member of the SDC, the labor union for professional directors and choreographers, and has directed with San Diego Junior Theatre, Trinity Theatre Company, different elementary schools throughout San Diego, and the Community Actor's Theatre. As an actor, he has worked at North Coast Rep's PTF Program, Cygnet Theatre (on the mainstage, and as a troupe member of the Storytelling on the Green), a collaboration production between San Diego State University and La Jolla Playhouse, and many others.

Megan GoyetteInstructorMegan is thrilled to be a part of the North Coast Rep team! She is currently a student at Point Loma Nazarene University studying Teacher Education. She has been performing and directing theater since her freshmen year of High School. Some of her favorite credits include Maria in Sound of Music, assistant director of Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland Jr., and director of Into the Woods Jr. She has also been an instructor for North Coast Rep’s Broadway Babies class, teaching the fundamentals of theater to 4-8 year olds. Megan is looking forward to the working with everyone for the camps this summer.

Brian MackeyInstructorBrian is a San Diego native, where he has been working in theater since he was young. He received his B.A. in theater from Sonoma State University and has since appeared on stages all over San Diego. Some favorite credits include In The Next Room (San Diego Repertory), History Boys (Cygnet Theatre), Jack Goes Boating (ion theatre), A Christmas Carol (North Coast Rep) & The Pride (Diversionary Theatre). Brian was awarded the 2011 Actor of the Year Award by the San Diego Critics Circle for his body of work.

Erin Evangeline-KorthTeacherErin Evangeline-Korth is thrilled to be part of the Theatre School at North Coast Rep. She holds a BA in theatre from the University of Kansas and has been a teaching artist with Prairie Fire Theatre, KU Theatre for Young Artists, & Empower College Prep. Favorite past credits include: Really Rosie - Rosie (KUTYA), The Eumenides - Athena (Ancient Theatre of Oenides), Lysistrata - Lysistrata (University of Kansas), Othello - Desdemona (Hollywood Rep). Erin is a Professional photographer who travels the country photographing artists and portraits.

Julia GiolzettiBroadway Babies InstructorJulia Giolzetti is a San Diego native and has recently returned home after working for over a decade in New York City. She holds a BFA in Theatre from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. For 2 years and almost 400 shows she performed Off-Broadway with the New York Times Critic’s Pick Drunk Shakespeare. Other New York theatre credits include over 15 Shakespeare plays, originating roles in 3 world premieres, and national commercials. She has taught theatre in NYC at Gramercy Arts High School, City Lights Youth Theatre, the Manhattan JCC, and as a one-on-one monologue coach. In addition, she led workshops as supplements to performances with the all-female ensemble the Tempest Ladies in Istanbul, Turkey. Her goal is to instill in her students a deep understanding and appreciation of the arts.

Taylor HendersonInstructorTaylor Renee Henderson is a San Diego based actor and teaching artist by way of Las Vegas. She has worked extensively on TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) with La Jolla Playhouse, Shakespeare for The Theatre School at North Coast Rep and with the Arts Engagement Outreach Program at The Old Globe. Selected credits include: All In The Timing, Twelfth Night and An Ideal Husband (NCRT), Home Of The Brave, Under Construction and Ojo (La Jolla Playhouse), Elizabeth Hobbs Keckley (The Old Globe), The Threepenny Opera (UCSD) and Hairspray at SDMT among others. Taylor has been working professionally for over 10 years and is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Phillip KorthTeacherPhillip Korth is an actor, writer, and craftsman. He earned a BA in Acting and Creative Writing from Western Michigan University and an MFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut. He served two tours of duty in Iraq as a United State Marine and currently travels the country with his wife, Erin, in their renovated 1976 Airstream travel trailer. Favorite past credits include Lion In Winter - Richard Lionheart (Western Michigan University) and Don Carlos Homenides De Histangua - A Flea in Her Ear (Connecticut Repertory Theatre).
